A long term colleague in production who was a long time Pro Tools user also raves about it and turned me onto it over a period of a few years. It's built on top of the Ardour open source DAW which it exceptional in itself but the really killer feature is the propriety DSP modelled on their legendary consoles as well as the 'console emulated workflow', which is just unbelievably fluid, fast and powerful (you can break out of it too but just have to be a little careful as it won't hold your hand in terms of latency compensation if you get experimental). The Harrison message board and facebook user groups are also a very great place to be - customer support is exceptional across the board. V5 only just hit so that'll be valid for a long while and future updates will be $20. and my last issue is when I do some production I can save it and go back to it like the next day and my sounds are gone it says something about locating the sound and that sucks when you record some of your vst't are missing now you got to create another beat or hopefully you tracked it out and mix and master it and put it in mp3 format or wav please help me anybody please you can email me Im not bashing presonus but my experience with them has been horrible.That's a FANTASTIC price for a product that I'm massively enthusiastic about. Today - I did not see this banner?Īny reasons behind that or is it by design to only pop up once in a while? Yesterday during a voiceover session - I was getting the standard "Upgrade" banner on the S1 Start Page. I also noticed some odd behavior between yesterday and today. There is no point to compromising my working system. Would rather let a new release sink in for while and do some watchful waiting before making a move. The very definition of stability (to me) - is letting someone else go first.

This "gotta have it" concept of "A new update is available - Install Now" - does not compute for me. Have never had a issue with this since v1.īUT: I do wait until several weeks have passed before actually doing the above. I always download the latest installer - run it and then carry on.

I too look for maturity and stability with my Win 10 LTSC and RME drivers.īut oddly - I do not ever upgrade "In System In place" (By clicking the Upgrade Now button in the Start Page).
